Adding Google fonts to your Logic CMX website is easy to do and allows users to expand the selection of fonts beyond Logic's base fonts.
- Go to fonts.google.com and select a typeface. From the font detail screen, add the styles or weights of the font that you would like included within the font family.
- The shopping bag at the top right corner of the screen will highlight. Click on the shopping bag icon to display the embed code in the right rail.
- Copy just the URL for the font from the embed code starting with https:// and ending with the font name.
- Login to your Logic CMX admin. Select the Settings Tab in the left rail and go to Font Management. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and add the font name exactly as it appears in the URL into the Font Family Name field. In the above example, the font family name is "Honk". Then paste the Google font URL into the Font CSS URL field. Then Save. If the name and URL are properly entered, the new font will display at the bottom of your available fonts lists and can be assigned in Website settings as Headings (H1 through H6) and body, link, and nav fonts.
- Save your changes by selecting the SAVE button at the bottom of the page. The new font should now show up at the bottom of the list of active fonts.
