Use Logic AI to generate a blog post including the article, summary and post images. This article starts with the same steps used to create a classic blog post and then explains how to leverage the AI tools as a starting point or to create the entire post.
How to Use the Logic AI to Generate a Blog Post
1. Login to the Logic admin using your email and password.
2. Go to the Blog tab within left-side navigation bar and select the "Posts" link to go to the list of current blog posts.
3. Select the Add New Post button at the top right of the blog listings screen.
4. The Add New Post form will display. The only required field is Title. Enter the main title of your post the way you would like it to display from the blog home page and at the top of the blog post. You can also add meta keywords and description for SEO purposes and modify the URL code or "slug" to differ from the title. Otherwise the title is converted into a browser-friendly URL. Click "SAVE" to continue.
5. By default, the Classic text editor is displayed. Switch to the Logic AI tab in the editor option bar.
6. Enter plain language prompts with all details that describes the post you are trying to create. For example: Write a 500 word story about a dragon. Then select the Generate button. The Logic AI icon will rotate to to show that the post generation is in progress.
7. Once completed, you will see the results below. If the results are not satisfactory, try adjusting the prompts and select the generate button again. The 5 most recent drafts are listed below the prompt entry field.
8. Use the icon bar below the text to move the generated post into the Classic editor (Classic tab) or to copy the text to the clipboard to past within an existing blog post.
9. Continue editing the generated post in the Classic tab using the rich text editor tools.
10. Once the primary post text is completed, use the Logic AI Summary Generator at the top of the post editor screen to generate a short description of the post that will be displayed on the main blog listing page. Click on the link to generate and populate the Short Summary Field and the edit as needed.
11. You can now use the Logic AI image generator to create images for the blog post thumbnail and main hero panel image. Enter prompts (detailed description of the image) and select an aspect ration from the size menu. Use square (1024x1024) for thumbnail and Landscape (1792x1024) for the main image.
12. A cropping tool is available within the media manager to further edit your image. Please note that cropping an image cannot be undone and does not save as a new image so it is important to download a safety copy or create a duplicate image before editing.
13. Make sure to save blog post changes frequently. Use the Preview button in the right column of the editor to view your updates. Upon completion you must enable the status to display the post in the blog. Posts are disabled by default.
